RESIDENTIAL PARKING PERMIT CERTIFICATION OF POSSESSION
This document is for the purpose of obtaining a residential parking permit in the City of Annapolis for a vehicle that is possessed and used exclusively, but not legally owned by the applicant who is a resident of one of the City of Annapolis residential parking districts.
If you do not own the vehicle on permit application, you must provide certification from vehicle owner that you have the right to possession.
- If the vehicle is a rental: Copy of the current rental document which provides vehicle make, model, color, year, VIN and tag numbers and names you as the driver.
- If the vehicle is a “company car”: Letter from company owner or official on company letterhead providing owner name, vehicle make, model, color, year, VIN and tag numbers and your name as exclusive driver of the vehicle.
- If the vehicle is owned by another person (such as a parent or spouse): Our form or a letter from the owner stating you have exclusive right to possession of the vehicle, providing the residential address related to the parking permit, the make, model, color, year, VIN and tag numbers. The form or letter must include the original signature of the vehicle owner. Vehicle insurance demonstrating the resident permit holder as additionally insured.
